The Rock Church is one of the most evangelistic churches in existence. They’ve been streaming their services for the last seven years, but over the previous six months have transitioned to having a full online ministry. Mike Humphrey is the Rock Church's first Online Campus Pastor.

I grew up watching the Lakers with my grandpa, and at the end of every season, they had something called exit interviews. No matter how good or bad the year went you sat down in front of cameras and got asked a series of questions about the season. It was always a frank conversation.

Humans build tools to amplify ourselves. The internet is one of these tools. For a long time, online ministries argued for why church online was needed. We begged for scraps to prove it’s effectiveness.

I bet struggling with having face time sounds irrelevant coming from an online pastor, but I still highly value this type of connection. What kind of event works best to build in more face time with our community while not competing with existing programs at our church?

Oculus Go feels like a game changer because some of it's design and features makes it somewhere in the middle of the previously mentioned VR devices. The barrier to entry will attract more users away from the reduced down Cardboard experience and mobile dependent setups because of the easy to use social apps. T
