A New Frontier of Opportunity

Church Online has limitations. If anyone is saying there are no limitations for Church Online they are naive. Being naive is cute when you’re a kid, but it is sad when you are an adult. I approach Church Online with full understanding of the limitations and strengths.

Proverbs 14:15 says, “The simple believes everything, but the prudent gives thought to his steps.”

I don’t allow the limitations to stop the good that can be done online. Helen Keller said, “I thank God for my handicaps, for through them, I have found myself, my work, and my God.”I choose to work through the “handicaps” online because it’s a frontier that needs to be reached. With any new adventure fears can dominate, but new opportunities lurk as well.

Fears rule with any project moving through uncharted lands because the lack of information usually causes panic, but the prudent person is wise with every step.

In America after the Revolutionary War, stories of wild Indians kept many from migrating west, but pioneers saw the opportunity. It is currently 2013 and I live in that wild land because people beforehand decided to take the risk to move forward. Just like the Wild West some migrated naively and others treaded wisely.

Let’s agree the online world is a new frontier full of limitations and fears, but the opportunities for reaching the lost are abundant. I’m in the business of laying down some railroads to reach people and not in the business of being a cowboy.
